Ada dua siswa SMP korban perundungan yang dipukul, ditendang, dan ditampar oleh sejumlah siswa SMP lainnya. Di dalam video yang merekam aksi perundungan tersebut, korban tampak tak melawan. Kapolrestabes Bandung, Kombes Pol Budi Santoso membenarkan adanya aksi perundungan tersebut. Korban dan pelaku pun sebenarnya telah dimediasi yang membuat pelaku perundungan harus wajib lapor. Karena tidak terima, pelaku kembali melakukan perundungan terhadap korban. Orang tua korban didampingi oleh kuasa hukumnya, Boyke Luthfiana Syahrir. "Jadi, hari ini terjadi laporan dari kedua orang tua korban yang mana kedua orang tua korban ini merasa tidak terima atas tindakan yang dilakukan oleh kawan-kawan sebayanya," ujar Boyke Luthfiana Syahrir di Mapolrestabes Bandung, dikutip dari Laporan tersebut dibuat untuk memberikan efek jera, karena antara pelaku dan korban sempat dimediasi namun kembali melakukan perundungan. "Kejadian pertama itu Jumat, 2 Juni 2023. Sudah dimediasi. Tapi di hari selanjutnya terjadi pemukulan lagi terhadap korban," katanya. Pihaknya mengungkapkan, perkara ini harus menjadi perhatian bagi dunia pendidika. "Kami tadi diterima dengan baik oleh pihak Polrestabes Bandung. Perkara ini harus menjadi perhatian bagi seluruh dunia pendidikan, khususnya di Kota Bandung," ucapnya.
